How To Get Bukit Lawang

You will stay overnight on two different campsites in the jungle.To get to North Sumatra and Bukit Lawang you have to book a flight to Medan (KNO – Kualanamu International Airport). Bukit Lawang is located in North Sumatra, about 2 hours from Medan & 3 hours from Kualanamu airport (depending on the traffic). The best airports from which to get here are Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta. From there take a short flight to Kualanamu airport (around 1 hour). Then there are 3 transportation options according to your budget, time & comfort: private car, tourist bus or public bus.
